Me and some friends are going up to Denver (We're in Las Vegas) next weekend, just to get away. We literally closed our eyes threw a dart on a map of the US and it landed near Denver. Ha ha, the thing is we've NEVER been there. So, does anyone have any ideas of fun things to do, places to see, places to eat, etc.?

16th Street mall is a fun place to hang out. There's the trolley (I forget what they call it) that you can ride up and down.

There's a LOT of great micro-brewery places and resturaunts down by Coor's Field. No names are jumping out to me at the moment, but pick any-- they're all good!

If you're in Denver, you need to spend some time in the mountains-- it's GORGEOUS this time of the year. Great hiking weather. Or camping for that matter. Depends on if you want to be in the city or west of it.

Have a great vacation!

I live in Colorado, grew up in Denver. Actually the last person said it well. The 16th street mall is great and has really cool restaurants, like the Hard Rock Cafe, plus some fun night clubs. For daytime, Six Flags is cool, and going to the Mountains is fun as well, to go fishing or hiking!
